Mark Kirkman (Guitar)

PRS Custom 24
This is a 2007 'Launch Show Special'.  This has now taken over from the Les Paul as his preferred weapon of choice.  PRS guitars give a truly awesome lead sound.

PRS Custom 22
Being so impressed with the PRS above he bought another one!

Gibson Les Paul Custom

Mark's 'first wife' as he describes her.  Born in 1979 he has had this guitar from new and was his only guitar during the 70's, 80's and 90's

Ibanez JS1200 Joe Satriani
Versatile 'wang-monster' subtle enough to catch nuances yet fast and easy to play.   Dive bomb!

Fender Stratocaster
This is mark's latest purchase, a Strat born in 1996.

Amplification is all Marshall – the best!
Valvestate VS 100 Lead Head ▪ AVT – 50 watt lead head ▪ Reverb 100 watt head (Ex Ritchie Blackmore) ▪ JCM 4 x 12” cabs x2 ▪ Valvestate VS100 Lead Combo

Pedals
Cry Baby Wah Wah ▪ BOSS Super Over Drive SD-1 ▪ Electro Harmonix Electric Mistress ▪ MXR Noisegate ▪ A Couple of Zooms!

Chris Mann (Bass)

Rickenbacker

Sex on legs. Slim neck and fast to play.  Typical thin yet punchy sound with loads of deep low tones too.  Born in 2003 we believe.  Chris has it's birth certificate somewhere!

Fender Precision

Only a Mexican bass but wired with USA electronics. So easy to play and delivers the archetypal 70 rock bass sound.

Fender Precision Californian Series

A rare guitar only made in 1997 and 1998.  It has a Jazz Bass bridge pickup to give more punch.

Strings Fender Stainless Bass 7350ML
These strings really rock!  Their Stainless steel roundwound construction really punch out the sound and stay fresh for a long time.  Boil then and they last even longer!
Gauges: .45. .065, .080, .100   p/n:  073-7350-005

Ampeg SVT6PRO
Rack mounted bass head delivering a huge 1,100W RMS!
Its 6 valve pre-amp produces the beautiful tone of tubes and the solid-state reliability of a MOSFET output stage provides the massive output.
This is one of the amps favoured by Tom Hamilton of Aerosmith (click here)

Ashdown ABM 500 EVO II (wide) bass head

My now 'spare' power amp still provides a big sound partly due to the mighty Ashdown sub-harmonic generator.  Single tube pre-amp brings in the warmth.

Ashdown USA Klystron Neo 410H Cabinets
These 1050Watt, 4 x 10 + horn Neo-410h cabinets use Neodymium speakers (ultra-lightweight bass driver that just keep getting louder as the level is increased).  Seriously powerful speakers that do not distort under load.

ZOOM B2.1U BASS MULTI EFFECTS PEDAL
This is a simple but effective bass effects pedal/tuner. the ZFX3 processor loaded with 9 preamp/cabinets 45 different effects, 3 types of synth sounds, etc...

Richard Pattle (Guitar & Keyboard)

Ibanez S5470
This is Rick's latest acquisition.  Superb electric guitar with big, versatile, Hotgrinder tones plus a hi-tech ZR-2 tremolo giving him even more knobs and buttons to fiddle with!

Ibanez JS1000 Joe Satriani
The same as Mark's but black.  Rick would like to point out he bought his first, adding, "Yngwie Malmsteen uses the same strings and Joe Satriani uses the same guitars as me!"

Zoom G7.1ut
more sounds than you can shake a stick at!

Sessionette-75 Amps x2
Made when 'the perm' was fashionable, these amps are still going strong.  Don't be put off by their diminutive size, these amps are seriously, painfully loud!

Yamaha QS300
This is now a fairly old keyboard but it is full of patches created by Rick over hours and hours of tweaking that still produces all the sounds any rock band would need.

Martin Challis (Lead Vocals)
PA Gear
Peavey Pro 12 P Speakers
Wharfedale R2004 Mixing Desk
TC Electronics M300 Dual Engine Effects Processor
Beyer Dynamics TGX 58 Microphone
Samson Audio C05 CL Condenser Microphones
Audio Technika ATW T220 Wireless Mic
Monitor Speakers Class-D with Peavey Slave Amplifier

This compact rig is not to be underestimated.  The sound produced is truly Hi-Fi compared with systems of a similar output.
